THE Southern Police District (SPD) confiscated more than ₱5 million worth of illegal drugs and arrested 111 suspects during the first week of PBGen. Rodel A. Pastor’s tenure as District Director, according to a report released Monday.
Data from the SPD showed that operating units conducted 79 anti-narcotics operations across southern Metro Manila from September 7 to 13.
The weeklong push resulted in the arrest of six High-Value Individuals (HVIs) and 105 Street-Level Individuals (SLIs).
In total, police seized 654.98 grams of suspected shabu, 429.07 grams of high-grade marijuana or kush, and 1.40 grams of standard marijuana, with a combined standard drug price of ₱5,097,637.
The District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU) scored the largest single haul of the week, confiscating 450 grams of shabu valued at ₱3.06 million during a targeted sting.

The aggressive drive marks the operational rollout of Pastor’s strategic thrust, anchored on the TSAPA framework (Trustworthiness, Service-Oriented, Accessible, Professional, and Accountable).
“This accomplishment during my first week as District Director is a testament to the dedication and commitment of our personnel in the Southern Police District,” Pastor said.
“We will sustain and further intensify our intelligence-driven operations, while ensuring that every police action remains lawful, professional, and respectful of human rights,” added Pastor.
All arrested suspects were turned over to local operating units for proper documentation and booking procedures.
They face formal criminal complaints for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, before the respective city prosecutor offices across the district.
