PATROL officers from the Kabayan Municipal Police Station (MPS) rendered assistance to a female motorist who was stranded due to a flat tire along Congressman Andres Acop Cosalan Road in Barangay Adaoay.
According to police reports, responding officers were conducting a routine mobile patrol when they encountered the driver, who was traveling toward Abatan, Buguias, before her vehicle became immobilized.
Left stranded alone along a stretch of highway with no nearby vulcanizing shops, the driver sought assistance from the patrolling team.
Recognizing the immediate safety risks, the officers transported the damaged tire to the nearest repair shop for service and subsequently reinstalled it on her vehicle.
Following the repair, police provided a safety escort to Poblacion, Kabayan, ensuring the motorist safely reunited with her family before continuing her journey.
The driver expressed her appreciation to the responding personnel for their prompt response.
The assistance was conducted under “Project T.A.L.Y.E.R.” (Traffic Assistance to Level-up and Yield Efficient Results), an ongoing initiative of the Police Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR).
The program trains and equips police officers to extend roadside and mechanical assistance to motorists encountering vehicular trouble on the road.
