JOINT elements of the Marikina City Police Station (CPS) successfully apprehended a top priority fugitive wanted for statutory rape in a late-night operation in Barangay Lawigue, Tayabas City, Quezon Province on September 3, 2026.
Operating personnel from the Marikina CPS Warrant and Subpoena Unit tracked down the suspect, identified by the alias “Bordado,” 46, at his residence in Sitio 6 at around 11:40 PM.
Authorities confirmed that Bordado ranks as the district level’s No. 3 most wanted person and the station level’s No. 1 most wanted person for September 2026.
The arrest was executed under a warrant issued on August 5, 2026, by the Presiding Judge of Branch 168 of the Marikina City Regional Trial Court.
Bordado faces charges for Rape under Article 266-A (1) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353, in relation to the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act (RA 7610) and the Family Courts Act of 1997 (RA 8369).
The issuing court recommended no bail for his release.
Police authorities confirmed that the operation strictly adhered to standard protocols.
Officers informed the suspect of his constitutional rights in a language he understood, documenting the entire process via Body Worn Cameras (BWC) and Alternative Recording Devices (ARD).
Following the arrest, the station submitted a prompt warrant return to the issuing court through the official e-warrant system.
Following his apprehension in Quezon, officers transported the suspect to the Amang Rodriguez Memorial Medical Center for mandatory physical and medical evaluations.
He is currently held at the male custodial facility of the Marikina City Police Station in Barangay Sta. Elena.
The Acting District Director of the Eastern Police District praised the operating units for their successful tracking and execution, reinforcing the PNP’s zero-tolerance stance on fugitives.
He noted that the operation highlights the law enforcement agency’s resolve to pursue individuals hiding across provincial lines and ensure they face legal accountability.
