OPERATIVES of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) arrested Metro Manila’s eighth most wanted person during a targeted manhunt operation in Barangay Maysan in Valenzuela City on Thursday morning, September 3, 2026.
Joint elements from the Northern Police District–District Special Operations Unit (NPD-DSOU) and the Regional Intelligence Unit–NCR intercepted the 50-year-old male suspect at around 11:15 AM along A. Pablo Street.
The suspect is listed as the Regional No. 8 Most Wanted Person, as well as the District No. 6 and Station No. 6 Most Wanted Target for September 2026 under the Valenzuela City Police Station.
Officers executed the arrest under a judicial warrant covering seven total counts of violating Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004:
- Section 5(A): Four counts (Bail set at ₱2,000 per count)
- Section 5(B): Two counts (No bail recommended)
- Section 5(H): One count (Bail set at ₱72,000)
Following his arrest, the suspect was brought to Valenzuela Medical Center for a routine medical and physical examination.
He was subsequently transferred to the operating unit for documentation and booking prior to turnover to the appropriate custodial facility.
The return of the warrant is currently being finalized for submission to the issuing court.
NCRPO Officer-in-Charge PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano stated that the operation highlights the police force’s commitment to serving active warrants regardless of time passed.
“A warrant does not lose its force simply because the person named in it has remained beyond the reach of the court,” PBGEN Abrahano said, adding that the arrest demonstrates the results expected from sustained coordination and determined police work.
