LOCAL government officials and law enforcement authorities joined forces to address neighborhood safety concerns during the “Project 1-SANGGUNI: Talakayan sa Barangay” held at the Hunters-ROTC Guerillas Center in Barangay Rosario on Wednesday morning.
Organized by the Local Government of Pasig City, the three-hour forum served as an open platform for residents to present complaints, ask questions, and suggest solutions regarding public safety directly to city leaders and police commanders.
The Eastern Police District (EPD), under District Director PBGen Roman C. Arugay, sent key leaders to the dialogue, including Pasig City Police Chief PCol Hendrix C. Mangaldan and District Community Affairs and Development Division OIC PLtCol Randy C. Moratalla.
Their attendance highlighted ongoing efforts by the Philippine National Police to build public trust and streamline cooperation with local government units.
Pasig City Vice Mayor Robert “Dodot” Jaworski Jr. and members of the City Council also attended the event to engage with constituents and assess community-level concerns.
The initiative emphasizes collaborative governance among the LGU, the police force, and local neighborhood residents to foster a safer environment in Barangay Rosario and across Pasig City.
