OPERATIVES of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) have arrested a 38-year-old woman listed as a top wanted individual during a targeted manhunt operation in Caloocan City.
The suspect was apprehended at around 7:15 p.m. on September 17, 2026, in front of Gate 2, Zamora Compound along Camarin Road in Barangay 172.
Personnel from the Hillcrest Police Sub-Station 8 executed the arrest as part of the region-wide campaign against fugitives.
The arrest was carried out by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on March 5, 2019, by the Regional Trial Court Branch 92 in Quezon City.
The suspect faces charges for violating Republic Act 10883, or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of the Philippines, with a court-recommended bail set at ₱300,000.
NCRPO Officer-in-Charge PBGen. Christopher N. Abrahano praised the operating team for their execution of the warrant and reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to tracking down individuals evading the law.
“Operations against wanted persons remain a priority in our continuing efforts to strengthen law enforcement presence across Metro Manila,” Abrahano said.
“I commend our personnel for their commitment and professionalism in ensuring that individuals with standing warrants are brought before the proper authorities,” added Abrahano.
The suspect is currently detained at the Hillcrest Police Sub-Station 8 custodial facility while officers process the return of the warrant to the issuing court ahead of upcoming judicial proceedings.
