THE Southern Police District (SPD) successfully maintained peace, order, and public safety across four major testing venues within its jurisdiction during the three-day 2026 Bar Examinations on September 6, 9, and 13.
Under the command of SPD Director PBGen. Rodel A. Pastor, the district deployed a 403-strong police force, augmented by allied security forces and community multipliers, to protect an estimated 2,704 bar examinees, legal staff, and administrators.
The security deployment covered key testing sites, including the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law, Manila Adventist College in Pasay City, the University of the Philippines Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City, and San Beda College Alabang in Muntinlupa City.
Throughout the examination dates, police personnel executed pre-deployment accounting, maintained high-visibility patrols, assisted in traffic management around the test centers, and established real-time coordination with Supreme Court security heads.
Pastor commended the deployed personnel for ensuring an incident-free environment, highlighting the operation as a reflection of the district’s core TSAPA framework (Trustworthiness, Service-Oriented, Accessible, Professional, and Accountable).
“The successful completion of the Bar Examinations reflects our commitment to serving the public with integrity and professionalism,” Pastor said.
“Our personnel demonstrated this commitment by maintaining a visible police presence, ensuring the safety of the examinees and examination personnel, and working closely with our partners throughout the conduct of the examinations,” added Pastor.
Police monitoring remained active until the complete clearance of all examinees and testing materials from the venues.
