A 20-year-old man listed as a “most wanted person” was taken into custody during a targeted manhunt operation in Taytay, Rizal, authorities reported.
Officers from the Pasig City Police Station’s Rosario Sub-Station conducted the operation around 11:00 AM in San Lorenzo Ruiz, Barangay San Juan, leading to the apprehension of the unemployed suspect, identified locally by the alias “Nathan.”
The arrest was executed on the strength of two outstanding warrants:
- Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition: Issued on February 5, 2026, by Branch 18 of the Family Court in Cainta, Rizal (Criminal Case No. 23-82459), with bail set at ₱120,000.
- Robbery: Issued on September 2, 2026, by Branch 67 of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court (Criminal Case No. R-PSG-26-02786-CR), with bail set at ₱100,000.
A background check by investigators revealed that the suspect is a repeat offender, having been previously arrested by the Taytay Municipal Police Station in 2022 and 2023 for illegal gambling and drug-related offenses.
Pasig City Police Chief PCol. Hendrix B. Mangaldan praised the operating team for the successful apprehension, reiterating the station’s commitment to tracking down fugitives and bringing them before the courts.
The suspect remains in police custody pending legal proceedings.
