THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) highlighted a week of strong administrative achievements from September 6 to 12, focusing on personnel welfare, community engagement, medical support, and logistical enhancements.
Under the leadership of Acting District Director PBGen. Christopher Olazo, the district’s Medical and Dental Unit, led by PLt. Col. Clarissa Modes, extended healthcare services to 3,909 beneficiaries.
Recipients included QCPD personnel, their dependents, community members, and Persons Under Police Custody (PUPCs).
Services ranged from routine medical and dental consultations to chest X-rays, PUPC health monitoring, and BMI assessments.
Medical teams were also deployed for local wellness outreach programs and routine fitness evaluations.
To boost morale and recognize operational excellence, the District Personnel and Records Management Division conferred 7,313 commendations and 246 awards to deserving officers during the same period.
In line with community policing initiatives, the District Community Affairs and Development Division spearheaded 254 outreach activities across various Quezon City barangays to foster trust and local collaboration.
On the logistical front, the District Logistics Division completed repairs and maintenance on 31 service vehicles to maintain swift emergency response capabilities across stations and operating units.
Additionally, the QCPD Damayan Program provided ₱40,000 in burial and medical assistance to three personnel, while a QCPD Kids Care Program beneficiary received ₱5,000 in medical aid.
“Strong administrative performance is the foundation of effective policing,” Olazo said. “By prioritizing personnel welfare, healthcare, logistics, recognition, and community engagement, we ensure that our people are equipped, supported, and ready to deliver swift, professional, and responsive service to every QCitizen.”
