POLICE Regional Office Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) Regional Director PBGen. Noel B. Vallo personally inspected security operations at Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City on September 6, 2026, marking the commencement of the 2026 Bar Examinations.
During the site visit, PBGen. Vallo interacted with law examinees and distributed small tokens of encouragement, offering words of support and recognition for their years of dedication and rigorous preparation.
To maintain public order, manage traffic flow, and provide direct assistance to test-takers and examination personnel, PRO CAR deployed a total of 441 police officers across key areas.
The security contingent comprises 196 personnel from the Baguio City Police Office, 133 from the Benguet Police Provincial Office, and 112 from PRO CAR Regional Headquarters.
“Our presence here goes beyond securing the perimeter; it reflects PRO CAR’s unwavering commitment to serve and protect our community during pivotal life moments,” PBGen. Vallo stated.
In line with the multi-day examinations, regional police authorities issued a public advisory warning motorists and commuters of anticipated heavy traffic along A. Bonifacio Street, specifically surrounding the main entrance of Saint Louis University.
Peak congestion is expected during ingress hours from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM, and egress hours from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Motorists are strongly advised to utilize alternate routes, plan travel early, and adhere strictly to directives from deployed traffic enforcers to prevent gridlock.
In a statement released to candidates, PRO CAR extended its well-wishes to the 2026 Bar examinees, highlighting their resilience and encouraging them to stay focused and healthy throughout the process.
Security deployment, traffic management, and emergency response assistance will remain fully active on the remaining examination days scheduled for September 9 and 13, 2026, as police forces work to maintain a safe and orderly environment for all stakeholders.
