THE Police Regional Office 7 (PRO7) recognized its top-performing police units for the month of August during its monthly evaluation, highlighting outstanding contributions to public safety and crime resolution across Central Visayas.
Initiated by PRO7 Regional Director PBGen. Arnold E. Abad, the monthly awards system supports PNP Chief PGen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr.’s 5-Focus Agenda, which emphasizes boosting personnel morale and welfare by recognizing dedication and operational excellence.
Units were evaluated using performance parameters that assessed crime prevention, solution efficiency, operational accomplishments, and overall community service delivery.
The top-performing units for August per category are:
- Best Police Provincial Office: Cebu Police Provincial Office
- Best City Police Office: Lapu-Lapu City Police Office
- Best Component City Police Station: Danao City Police Station
- Best Municipal Police Station (Class A): Daanbantayan Municipal Police Station
- Best Municipal Police Station (Class B): Dalaguete Municipal Police StationAdvertisement
- Best Municipal Police Station (Class C): Getafe Municipal Police Station
- Best Police Station (Highly Urbanized City): Police Station 11, Cebu City Police Office
PBGen. Abad commended the awardees, stating that the recognition affirms the hard work of the personnel on the ground.
“We recognize not only the accomplishments of these units but also the dedication of the personnel behind those accomplishments. Their performance demonstrates what can be achieved when commitment, discipline, and teamwork are translated into meaningful service to the community,” Abad said.
PRO7 affirmed it will continue the monthly recognition program to sustain operational momentum, encourage accountability, and align with the national command’s vision of responsive and transparent public service across the region.
