OPERATIVES of the Northern Police District (NPD) arrested a 50-year-old man wanted for multiple counts of violence against women and children in Barangay Maysan on Thursday morning, September 3, 2026.
Members of the District Special Operations Unit (DSOU), led by PLTCOL Joebie M. Astucia, in coordination with NDIT-RIU NCR, served a warrant of arrest along A. Pablo Street at around 11:15 AM.
Police identified the accused as the No. 8 Regional-Level Most Wanted Person across Metro Manila for September 2026.
He also ranked as the No. 6 most wanted individual at both the district and Valenzuela City station levels.
The arrest warrant was issued on August 14, 2026, by Branch 16 of the Valenzuela City Regional Trial Court.
The accused faces charges for multiple violations under Sections 5(A), 5(B), and 5(H) of Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Their Children Act of 2004.
Following his capture, officers brought the suspect to the Valenzuela Medical Center for a routine physical examination.
He was subsequently transferred to the DSOU office for booking and documentation, pending his turnover to the proper custodial facility and the formal return of the arrest warrant to the court.
NPD District Director PBGEN Benliner L. Capili commended the operating unit, emphasizing that the arrest reflects the police district’s intensified effort to apprehend fugitives facing serious offenses against women and children.
