OPERATIVES of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) arrested Metro Manila’s tenth most wanted person during a targeted warrant operation on Thursday morning, September 3, 2026.
Joint elements from the San Juan City Police Station, Regional Intelligence Unit (RIU NCR), and EDIT operatives intercepted the 38-year-old male suspect at around 8:35 AM in Barangay Highway Hills.
The arrest was executed by virtue of a judicial warrant issued on July 25, 2022, by the Acting Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court Branch 68 in Pasig City.
The suspect faces charges for illegal drug possession under Section 11 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Criminal Case No. 22706-D), with bail set at ₱200,000.
Officers informed the suspect of his constitutional rights in a language he understood before placing him under police custody.
Following standard procedures, he was brought to the San Juan Medical Center for a medical examination prior to being turned over to the San Juan City Police Station Custodial Facility.
Police leadership highlighted the arrest as part of the NCRPO’s intensified Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operations (SACLEO) and the PNP’s Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) framework.
NCRPO Officer-in-Charge PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano emphasized that warrants remain active regardless of how much time passes.
“Pinatutunayan ng pag-arestong ito na hindi kumukupas sa paglipas ng panahon ang bisa ng isang warrant,” PBGEN Abrahano said.
“Sa mga nahaharap sa kasong may kaugnayan sa ilegal na droga at pinipiling umiwas sa proseso ng batas, malinaw ang aming mensahe: patuloy na tutugisin ng NCRPO ang mga taong pinaghahanap ng hukuman hanggang sila ay maiharap sa korte at managot sa kasong kinakaharap nila.”
