POLICE authorities served an executive order of arrest and recommitment on Wednesday afternoon against a 28-year-old convicted drug offender currently held inside the Muntinlupa City Jail-Male Dormitory in Barangay Tunasan.
Personnel from the Warrant and Subpoena Unit of the Muntinlupa City Police Station formally executed the order at approximately 4:45 PM on August 26, 2026.
The subject, identified by the police alias “Karl,” is a resident of Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City, who was previously designated as a Most Wanted Person following his conviction for illegal drug possession under Section 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 (Criminal Case No. 13-791).
The recommitment order was issued by Sergio R. Calizo Jr., Chairman of the Board of Pardons and Parole.
Under his original sentence, the court handed “Karl” an indeterminate prison sentence ranging from four years and two months to eight years and one day, alongside a ₱400,000 fine.
In strict compliance with Supreme Court A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC governing police operations, the serving team utilized standard Philippine National Police body-worn cameras and an alternative recording device.
Operatives also advised the subject of his constitutional rights in Tagalog during the process. He remains in custody at the facility pending further transfer and recommitment proceedings.
Southern Police District Director PBGEN Glenn Oliver C. Cinco commended the local police unit for its swift execution of the executive directive.
“The SPD will continue to enforce court and executive orders and ensure that persons convicted of crimes comply with the penalties imposed by law,” Cinco stated in a released statement.
