THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) confiscated over ₱254.8 million worth of illegal drugs across Metro Manila during a month-long anti-narcotics campaign, regional authorities reported.
Between Aug. 23 and Sept. 23, 2026, synchronized police operations netted approximately 37,463.36 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱254,750,827.60.
In addition to the shabu haul, police seized 858.60 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth ₱103,032, five cultivated marijuana plants valued at ₱1,000, and 923.65 grams of high-grade “kush” marijuana.
NCRPO Officer-in-Charge PBGen. Christopher N. Abrahano emphasized that the sustained offensive reflects the command’s zero-tolerance stance against narcotics syndicates operating in the capital region.
“Under my leadership, the NCRPO will continue to pursue a focused and intelligence-driven campaign against illegal drugs,” Abrahano said in a statement.
“Every operation we undertake is geared toward preventing these substances from reaching our communities and ensuring that those involved are held fully accountable,” added Abrahano.
Issuing a stern warning to drug peddlers and trafficking networks, the NCRPO chief noted that law enforcement units will continue to expand intelligence monitoring to dismantle drug supply chains across Metro Manila.
“Those involved in the illegal drug trade should know that the NCRPO will continue to strengthen its intelligence efforts and conduct focused operations to disrupt your activities,” Abrahano added. “Every seizure is a reminder that illegal drugs have no place in our communities.”
The NCRPO urged Metro Manila residents to stay vigilant and support anti-crime efforts by reporting suspicious activities through the emergency 911 hotline, local police stations, or official community reporting platforms.
