THE Parañaque City Police Station, under the leadership of Chief of Police PCol. Nicolas S. Piñon, executed a series of community-oriented initiatives across the city from September 11 to 21, 2026, aimed at bolstering public safety, environmental sustainability, and community relations.
On September 21, officers from the Station Community Affairs Section (SCAS) conducted a community outreach program at Gawad Kalinga C5 Extension in Barangay La Huerta.
The event featured a lecture on crime prevention and safety tips, followed by a feeding program for local children and residents.
This activity followed a series of similar engagements over the weekend.
On September 20, SCAS personnel, led by PMaj. Ester B. Arandia, partnered with the Philippine Guardians International Eighteen Coalition, Inc. in Sitio Wella 1, Barangay Merville.
The joint team provided a feeding program alongside free haircuts, eyebrow grooming, and complimentary reading glasses.
Earlier, on September 19, the Baclaran Police Sub-Station, supervised by PMaj. Kalvin Jomari S. Golitod, organized a feeding program along Opeña Street in Barangay Baclaran.
Simultaneously, SCAS officers conducted an outreach behind SM Sucat along C5 Road in Barangay San Dionisio, combining a crime prevention talk with the distribution of rice bags and slippers to local families.
These grassroots operations build upon ongoing coordination between local law enforcement and barangay leaders.
On September 15, PCol. Piñon met with Liga ng mga Barangay President Hon. Noel P. Japlos to discuss community security, alongside spot inspections of Pulis sa Barangay personnel overseeing cash allowance distributions in the area.
In addition to social welfare and security operations, Parañaque police personnel participated in International Coastal Cleanup Day on September 11 at the Okada Boardwalk Seaside.
Organized in partnership with Okada Manila, the local government unit, the PNP Maritime Group, the Philippine Coast Guard, and the Bureau of Fire Protection, the environmental drive underscored the station’s commitment to collaborative public service across the city.
