A suspect was arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by the City Drug Enforcement Team of the Antipolo Component City Police Station, resulting in the confiscation of 17.31 grams of suspected shabu valued at more than ₱117,000 and a firearm in Barangay Dalig, Antipolo City, Rizal, on the evening of September 14, 2026.
The arrested suspect was identified only by the alias “Boss,” an adult and resident of Barangay Dalig.
According to the report, police operatives conducted the buy-bust operation in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The operation resulted in the suspect’s arrest and the recovery of four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu.
Authorities also confiscated a ₱500 buy-bust money, a 9mm pistol, a 9mm magazine, three 9mm live rounds of ammunition, and a coin purse from the suspect.
The suspect is facing charges for alleged violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and Republic Act No. 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
The operation was conducted in accordance with prescribed police operational procedures and documented using an alternative recording device.
The suspect and confiscated evidence were turned over to the Antipolo Component City Police Station for proper documentation and inquest proceedings.
The suspect remains in police custody.
