LOCAL authorities apprehended Pasig City’s fourth most wanted person during a law enforcement operation in Barangay Malinao on Friday afternoon, September 18.
The suspect, identified by police only as 46-year-old alias “Marvin,” an unemployed resident of the area, was taken into custody around 5:30 PM at Vicper Compound by team members of the Bambang Police Sub-Station, led by Officer-in-Charge PLT Jerry C. Balansay.
The arrest was executed on the strength of a warrant issued on September 15 by Branch 151 of the Pasig City Regional Trial Court under Criminal Case No. R-PSG-26-02909-CR.
The accused faces charges for violating Section 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Bail for his temporary liberty has been set at ₱200,000.
According to police records, the suspect has a history of prior run-ins with the law, having been previously arrested on June 12 for theft and a separate drug-related offense.
Pasig City Police Chief PCOL Mangaldan praised the arresting officers for their successful operation, highlighting that sustained police presence and efficient warrant execution remain vital to holding offenders accountable and keeping local communities safe.
