THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) confiscated approximately ₱848,912 worth of suspected shabu and arrested seven suspects during a series of coordinated, intelligence-led buy-bust operations across Metro Manila on September 12, 2026.
The multi-city crackdown netted a total of 124.84 grams of illegal drugs through separate raids in Manila, Makati, and Quezon City.
The operations began in Tondo, Manila, at around 12:30 AM along Juan Luna Street in Barangay 7.
Operatives from the Moriones Police Station apprehended two suspects—aged 25 and 30—classified as a high-value individual and a street-level individual, respectively.
Officers seized seven sachets containing 56 grams of suspected shabu valued at ₱380,800, along with marked money and a sling bag.
Hours later at 3:40 AM, Makati City Police Station operatives executed a bust along Malolos Street in Barangay Olympia, arresting four male suspects aged 31 to 46.
Officers recovered 15.84 grams of shabu worth ₱107,712, a motorcycle, and drug paraphernalia.
The operation escalated when two suspects attempted to flee on a motorcycle; the vehicle crashed, and the duo physically resisted arresting officers before being subdued.
They face additional charges for resistance and disobedience under the Revised Penal Code.
The sweep concluded at around 8:00 PM in Novaliches, Quezon City.
Novaliches Police Station personnel targeted a 41-year-old high-value individual along Forest Hills Drive in Barangay Sta. Monica.
Authorities confiscated eight sachets holding 53 grams of suspected shabu worth ₱360,400.
Verification revealed the suspect was a repeat offender previously arrested for drug violations in July 2025.
All seven suspects remain in custody pending formal inquest proceedings for violations of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
NCRPO Regional Director PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano stated that police forces will maintain continuous pressure on regional drug syndicates while adhering strictly to legal protocols.
“Those who continue to distribute illegal drugs should understand that operations will remain focused and sustained,” PBGEN Abrahano said, assuring the public that law enforcement will relentlessly pursue drug offenders to protect local communities.
