REGIONAL law enforcement operatives captured two top most wanted persons (TMWPs) in separate manhunt operations conducted across Ifugao and Baguio City on September 3, 2026.
In Lagawe, Ifugao, police arrested a 28-year-old male listed as PRO CAR’s No. 4 Regional TMWP for the third quarter of 2026.
The suspect was served a warrant of arrest in Barangay Burnay for two counts of statutory rape.
The joint operation was executed by operatives from the Lagawe Municipal Police Station, Ifugao PPO’s Provincial Intelligence Unit and 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company, alongside Regional Mobile Force Battalion 15 and Regional Intelligence Unit 14 (RIU-14).
Meanwhile, in Baguio City, a joint police team apprehended a 34-year-old female classified as the city’s No. 4 TMWP in Barangay Kias.
She was wanted for two counts of violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Operatives from Police Station 4, the City Investigation and Detection Management Unit, the City Intelligence Unit of the Baguio City Police Office, and RIU-14 carried out the operation.
PRO CAR Regional Director PBGen. Noel B. Vallo commended the operating units, reaffirming the regional command’s commitment to strengthening inter-unit coordination to track down fugitives and enforce the rule of law across the Cordillera region.
