THE Northern Police District (NPD) carried out a series of internal capability-building activities and community safety initiatives across the CAMANAVA region (Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas, and Valenzuela) to enhance police professionalism, operational competence, and disaster response.
Under the leadership of NPD District Director PBGEN Benliner L. Capili, 50 personnel from the District Mobile Force Battalion (DMFB), District Headquarters, and local city police stations completed the Values Enhancement Seminar Class 18-2026.
The training forms part of the district’s Integrity Monitoring and Enhancement Program, aimed at promoting ethics, discipline, and accountability across ranks.
Alongside character-building efforts, the district prioritized continuous professional education.
The NPD conducted two consecutive sessions of the Continuing Police Learning through Examination (CPLEX) at the NPD War Room in Caloocan City.
Batch 20 took place on September 3, followed by Batch 21 on September 4, 2026.
Each two-hour session engaged 50 officers in reviewing core law enforcement protocols, operational policies, and administrative procedures.
Extending its efforts to community protection, NPD personnel also partnered with the Department of Education (DepEd) for a nationwide safety drill and lecture series across various schools in the CAMANAVA area.
Police officers delivered practical safety demonstrations and briefed students, teachers, and school staff on emergency protocols to ensure immediate coordination and life safety during critical incidents.
According to the NPD, combining internal discipline and continuous training with proactive community outreach remains central to maintaining a professional police force and securing local learning environments.
