OPERATIVES of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) arrested Metro Manila’s second most wanted fugitive, who faces ten counts of qualified rape, during a pre-dawn operation on Saturday, August 30, 2026.
Joint police elements apprehended the 31-year-old male suspect at around 2:00 AM along J.P. Rizal Street corner Golden Valley Main Road in Barangay Malanday.
The raid was executed by personnel from Barbosa Police Station 14 of the Manila Police District, supported by NCRPO regional operating units.
Officers served a standing judicial warrant of arrest issued under Article 266-A of the Revised Penal Code, covering ten separate counts of qualified rape with no bail recommended.
Following the arrest, authorities transferred the suspect to the Barbosa Police Station for documentation and temporary detention.
He remains in the station’s custodial facility while police finalize administrative requirements for the formal return of the warrant to the court of origin.
PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano, Officer-in-Charge of the NCRPO, reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to tracking down fugitives across Metro Manila.
“Ten serious charges and a standing warrant demand one response—accountability before the law,” PBGEN Abrahano said.
“Our mandate is clear: prevent further harm, respond with purpose, and ensure that those wanted by the law are brought before the courts,” Abrahano added.
