THE Marikina City Police Station (CPS), led by Chief of Police PCol. Jenny DC Tecson, received a series of commendations from local government units, partner agencies, and community institutions for exemplary performance in crime prevention and public service.
On June 10, 2026, the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Marikina passed Resolution No. 119, commending the station for a joint operation with the District Intelligence Division and District Anti-Carnapping Unit that resulted in the arrest of eight carjacking suspects and the recovery of stolen motorcycles and firearms.
The local council issued a second commendation via Resolution No. 163 on August 5, recognizing the station’s swift apprehension of a suspect involved in a hacking incident in Barangay Malanday.
The City Government of Marikina presented PCol. Tecson with a Certificate of Commendation on August 3 for her leadership in strengthening local security partnerships.
Additional honors were awarded during the 53rd Eastern Police District (EPD) Founding Anniversary on August 4, where the station secured several individual and unit awards:

- PLtCol Victoriano H. De Castro — Best Junior PCO for Administration
- PEMS Giovanie C. Torres — Best Senior PNCO for Operations
- PMSg Jenalyn B. Tuddao — Best Senior PNCO for Administration
- PCpl Louis Jestoni Sarion — Best Junior PNCO for Operations
- Marikina CPS — Special Unit Award for Outstanding Campaign Against Wanted Persons
The station was also recognized for inter-agency support beyond traditional law enforcement.
The Department of Education–Schools Division Office of Marikina awarded the police force a Plaque of Appreciation on August 7 for student safety initiatives.
On August 26, the station received a Plaque of Recognition from the Pork Producers Federation of the Philippines, Inc., the Philippine Pork Council Alliance, Inc., and AGAP Party-list for assisting in the seizure of unsafe and expired frozen imported meat products.
That same day, St. Scholastica’s Academy of Marikina acknowledged the station’s assistance during its Safeguarding Orientation and Training.
PCol. Tecson reaffirmed the station’s commitment to maintaining professional, responsive, and community-centered police operations throughout the city.
