A targeted intelligence operation conducted by the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) led to the arrest of Metro Manila’s No. 3 Most Wanted Person for September 2026, a 54-year-old man facing multiple charges involving minors.
Personnel from the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (F2-RMFB) executed a Warrant of Arrest on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at approximately 7:20 PM along Esguerra Street, Villa Monique, Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City.
The accused, a resident of Barangay Pinagbuhatan, was apprehended by virtue of an arrest warrant issued on July 24, 2026, by Branch 12 of the Family Court in Pasig City.
He faces one charge of Acts of Lasciviousness under Article 336 of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act Nos. 7610 and 8369, with bail set at ₱200,000.
Additionally, he faces three counts of Statutory Rape under Article 266-A, paragraph 1(d) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by RA Nos. 11648 and 8369, for which no bail was recommended.
Executing officers adhered to Supreme Court Resolution A.M. No. 21-06-08-SC by utilizing alternative recording devices during the operation, informing the accused of his constitutional rights, and maintaining standard documentation procedures.
Following the apprehension, the suspect was transported to the RMFB-NCRPO Intelligence Section at Camp Bagong Diwa in Lower Bicutan, Taguig City, for processing and legal disposition.
The operation aligns with the Enhanced Managing Police Operations framework under PNP Chief PGen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr., alongside the “Prepare, Prevent, Respond” strategy led by NCRPO Officer-in-Charge PBGEN Christopher N. Abrahano.
“The NCRPO will continue to Prepare, Prevent, and Respond with determination, using every lawful means available to locate and apprehend wanted persons,” PBGen Abrahano stated. “Crimes against children are particularly reprehensible, and those accused of committing such acts must face the consequences through due process of law.”
The NCRPO reaffirmed that its campaign against high-value fugitives remains relentless, emphasizing that no individual accused of threatening vulnerable members of society is beyond the reach of focused law enforcement operations.
