THE Eastern Police District (EPD) partnered with the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI) and the PNP Officers Ladies Club Foundation, Inc. (PNP OLCFI) to host a Free Influenza Vaccination and Wellness Program on October 6, 2026, at the EPD Multi-Purpose Hall along Caruncho Avenue, Barangay Malinao.
Designed to bolster preventive healthcare, the initiative protected frontline officers exposed to demanding operational environments.
Beyond free flu shots, attendees received complimentary health services, including bone scanning, cataract eye checks, massages, accuwellness care, vitamins, and photo booth perks.
The District Community Affairs and Development Division (DCADD), led by OIC PltCol Randy C. Moratalla, coordinated the smooth execution of the event.

Mrs. Rodelle L. Abrahano, Adviser of the PNP OLCFI NCRPO Chapter, served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker.
Abrahano emphasized that maintaining physical well-being is vital for officers to effectively serve their communities.
She was joined by Ma. Larissa G. Gonzales, Marketing Department Manager of PSMBFI, who reaffirmed the organization’s dedication to police welfare.
EPD District Director PBGen. Roman C. Arugay expressed deep gratitude to the partner organizations, stressing that workforce health directly drives operational readiness.
The collaborative effort was further championed by EPD OLCFI Adviser Mrs. Mary Rose L. Arugay and EPD OLCFI President Mrs. Clarebelle P. Gantang.
Through proactive health interventions, the EPD continues to reinforce its core philosophy: healthy personnel ensure stronger readiness and better service for the public.
