THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) prioritized the health, wellness, and readiness of its personnel by hosting a comprehensive Flu Vaccination Program and medical mission on October 13, 2026, at Camp PMGen Tomas B. Karingal.
Led by Acting District Director Police Brigadier General Christopher Olazo, the QCPD welcomed representatives from the PNP Officers’ Ladies Club Foundation, Inc. (PNP OLCFI) and the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund, Inc. (PSMBFI).
Mrs. Rodelle Abrahano, OLCFI-NCRPO Adviser, graced the event as the guest of honor and speaker.
The program kicked off with a ceremonial vaccination of QCPD personnel, followed by the rollout of flu shots administered by the District Medical and Dental Unit.
Beyond immunization, attendees and police personnel benefited from a variety of service booths and a medical mission supported by partner organizations, including Landers, PSMBFI, Mary Kay, local optometrists, and free haircut stations.

To honor their invaluable contributions, the QCPD presented Certificates of Appreciation to all participating partners and service providers.
The visit extended beyond healthcare as guests were given a tour of the District Tactical Operations Center.
During the tour, a simulation exercise (SIMEX) was conducted to demonstrate the district’s high level of operational preparedness and rapid response capabilities.
Emphasizing the importance of preventive healthcare, the QCPD noted that keeping its personnel healthy is vital to maintaining an effective and reliable force ready to serve the public.
The district extended its heartfelt gratitude to the PNP OLCFI, PSMBFI, and all stakeholders for making the collaborative initiative a success.
