THE National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has reaffirmed its strict zero-tolerance policy against harassment, intimidation, discrimination, and inappropriate behavior by police personnel, placing a strong emphasis on protecting women, children, and vulnerable groups.

Under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge Police Brigadier General Christopher N. Abrahano, all district directors, station commanders, and unit heads have been ordered to reinforce professional standards and ensure rigorous supervision.

PBGen. Abrahano stressed that the authority vested in the police uniform must never be exploited to intimidate or humiliate citizens.

“Every person who seeks assistance from the police deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect. Women, children, and vulnerable individuals must feel safe when dealing with our personnel,” Abrahano stated, noting that the uniform symbolizes public trust rather than a license to abuse authority.

The directive mandates that officers maintain professionalism and restraint during all citizen interactions, whether conducting law enforcement operations, handling routine duties, or responding to public complaints.

To ensure accountability, supervisors are instructed to actively monitor personnel conduct and handle grievances without delay.

Complaints involving harassment, discrimination, or misconduct must be thoroughly documented, assessed, and referred to appropriate disciplinary or legal bodies.

PBGen. Abrahano underscored that supervisory accountability is vital to prevent any oversight that might discourage victims from reporting abuses.

Furthermore, the NCRPO urges anyone who experiences or witnesses misconduct to report the incident through official channels.

All reports are processed under established guidelines that prioritize the privacy, safety, and dignity of complainants, particularly minors and vulnerable individuals.

Anchored on its ongoing internal cleansing and discipline initiatives, the NCRPO maintains that treating the public with respect is a non-negotiable obligation.

The organization remains fully committed to lawful policing and ensuring that every officer stays accountable to the communities they serve.
