Operatives from the Muntinlupa City Police Station’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted the sting operation at approximately 7:00 PM, leading to the apprehension of the suspect, identified through the alias “Kekok,” an unemployed local resident.
According to police reports, operatives recovered approximately 175.1 grams of suspected “Kush” (high-grade marijuana) with a standard drug price valued at ₱262,650, alongside 8.1 grams of suspected cocaine hydrochloride worth ₱42,930.
The total haul reached an estimated street value of ₱305,580. Authorities also confiscated the marked buy-bust money and a blue backpack used in the operation.
The suspect is currently detained at the SDEU office and faces criminal complaints for violations of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Police Brigadier General Rodel A. Pastor, District Director of the Southern Police District (SPD), commended the successful operation and stressed the district’s ongoing commitment to intelligence-driven law enforcement.
“We will sustain our aggressive campaign against illegal drugs and pursue those who engage in this unlawful trade,” PBGEN Pastor stated.
“Let this serve as a clear warning that the Southern Police District will not tolerate illegal drug activities in our communities. We will enforce the law firmly and hold violators accountable,” added Pastor.
The raid forms part of the SPD’s broader, continuous initiative to dismantle illegal drug distribution networks across the southern Metro area.
