NATIONAL Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Officer-in-Charge Police Brigadier General Christopher Abrahano has ordered police commanders and personnel across Metro Manila to strengthen collaboration with community leaders, civic groups, and private organizations as part of ongoing efforts to elevate governance and public service standards.
The directive follows the recent meeting of the Regional Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development (RAGPTD) on October 7, 2026.
During the session, PBGen. Abrahano underscored the necessity of integrating external viewpoints into the police force’s systems, policies, and daily operations.
Commanders have been instructed to maintain regular dialogue with partners, open accessible channels for feedback, and ensure that stakeholder recommendations are actively utilized to refine regional police initiatives.
Furthermore, PBGen. Abrahano emphasized that institutional reforms must translate into tangible enhancements in police performance, professionalism, and community relations.
Highlighting the value of open communication, the NCRPO chief stressed that effective law enforcement relies heavily on receptiveness to constructive feedback from those intimately familiar with local realities.
“Good governance requires us to listen, learn, and act,” PBGen. Abrahano stated.
“Our partners provide perspectives that can help us identify gaps, improve our practices, and respond more effectively to the concerns of our communities. We must make sure that their contributions lead to meaningful action,” Abrahano added.
In addition to partnership-building, PBGen. Abrahano reminded all personnel to uphold rigorous standards of accountability and professionalism during every public interaction, noting that public trust is forged through consistent, responsible conduct.
The NCRPO remains firmly committed to working hand-in-hand with regional stakeholders to drive institutional growth, build stronger police-community bonds, and foster a responsive, service-oriented police force throughout the National Capital Region.
