Authorities carried out a total of 73 anti-illegal drug operations throughout the district during the period.
The targeted sweeps resulted in the apprehension of 69 suspected drug users and 22 alleged drug pushers.
Confiscated items during the week-long crackdown included approximately 304.61 grams of suspected shabu, 2.79 grams of suspected marijuana, 88.65 grams of suspected kush, and 30 pieces of cannabis oil.

The apprehended suspects and recovered drug evidence were processed by respective police units for documentation and proper disposition.
Formal charges for violations of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are currently being prepared for filing.
Southern Police District Director PBGen. Rodel A. Pastor praised the operating units for their relentless efforts in curbing the drug trade across the district.
“We will continue our focused operations against those involved in the illegal drug trade,” PBGen. Pastor said.
“At the same time, we will ensure that every operation is conducted lawfully, properly, and with accountability. We will remain visible and responsive in protecting our communities from illegal drugs,” added Pastor.
In light of the successful operations, the SPD has encouraged the public to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities related to illegal drugs to the nearest police station or through official reporting channels.
