THE Northern Police District (NPD), under the leadership of District Director PBGEN BENLINER L CAPILI, arrested ten wanted individuals during an intensified “Warrant Day” operation across its jurisdiction.
The successful crackdown netted two Top Most Wanted Persons (TMWPs), one Most Wanted Person (MWP), and seven other wanted individuals facing various criminal charges.
Among the high-profile arrests was a 41-year-old male construction worker apprehended on October 1, 2026, in Barangay Maysilo, Malabon City.
Joint operatives from the District Special Operations Unit, PNP-DI, and the Malabon City Police Station tracked down the suspect, who ranked as the No. 2 Top Most Wanted Person at the NCRPO regional level, No. 1 at the NPD district level, and No. 1 at the Malabon station level for October 2026.
He was nabbed by virtue of a warrant for murder issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 4 in Malabon City, with no bail recommended.
In Navotas City, local police also secured a 40-year-old male fisherman tagged as the station’s No. 10 Top Most Wanted Person.
Arrested in Barangay Tangos South for violating Section 15, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 under a warrant for service of sentence, he is currently detained at the Navotas Custodial Facility.
Additionally, authorities apprehended a 31-year-old female virtual assistant facing an estafa charge with a recommended bail of ₱120,000 issued by a Quezon City court.
The remaining fugitives were taken into custody for various offenses as part of the district’s broader anti-criminality drive.
Guided by its core pillar of responsive and dynamic law enforcement, the NPD continues to enhance its operational readiness through heightened police visibility, rapid response, and sustained manhunt operations.
District officials emphasized that these proactive measures reinforce the command’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding communities, keeping peace and order, and delivering prompt, reliable public service across the northern metropolis.
