OPERATIVES from the Quezon City Police District’s (QCPD) District Anti-Carnapping Unit (DACU) have successfully recovered a motorcycle stolen from Bulacan over a month ago after it was spotted abandoned along Visayas Street in Barangay Sta. Lucia.
The recovery took place at around 2:50 PM on September 11, 2026, following a tip from a Barangay Public Safety Officer who reported an unattended vehicle to police authorities.
DACU personnel dispatched to the scene discovered a black 2018 Suzuki Raider 150cc missing its chain and license plate.
A secondary search of the vehicle revealed its license plate, 258-CPS, stashed inside the seat compartment.
Cross-referencing the plate with Land Transportation Office (LTO) records identified the registered owner as alias “Jay,” a resident of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
Upon contact, the owner confirmed the motorcycle was stolen outside his residence in Barangay Bagong Buhay 3 on August 1, 2026, and that he had previously filed a carnapping report with local police.
