IN a wide-scale crackdown on fugitives, operatives of the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) apprehended 25 wanted individuals during a series of synchronized warrant operations executed across the city on September 11, 2026.
The intensive one-day operation led to the arrest of 10 individuals categorized on local police station level most wanted persons (MWP) lists, alongside 15 other wanted individuals facing standing court warrants.
Among the high-profile arrests were three suspects listed as the top fugitives in their respective police station jurisdictions:
- Holy Spirit Police Station (PS 14): Arrested its No. 1 MWP, alias “Rob,” 50, at his residence in Barangay Pasong Tamo. He faces four counts of rape under a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 10 in Malolos City, Bulacan.
- Galas Police Station (PS 11): Napped its No. 1 MWP, alias “Chris,” 28, along Don Pepe Street in Barangay Sto. Domingo for a murder charge issued by RTC Branch 104, Quezon City.
- Talipapa Police Station (PS 3): Arrested its No. 1 MWP, alias “Rey,” 31, in Barangay Sauyo under an outstanding warrant for robbery with frustrated homicide. PS 3 officers also intercepted their No. 9 MWP, alias “Ben,” 42, near Balintawak Market along EDSA Southbound on drug-related charges.
Additional operations by La Loma (PS 1), Masambong (PS 2), Fairview (PS 5), and Payatas Bagong Silangan (PS 13) resulted in the apprehension of multiple suspects wanted primarily for violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act (R.A. 9165).
Background checks revealed several suspects had prior arrest records for drug offenses, homicide, and illegal gambling.
QCPD Acting District Director PBGEN Christopher Olazo stated that all issuing courts will be formally notified of the arrests for legal disposition.
