THE Southern Police District (SPD) hauled in roughly ₱6.6 million worth of illicit substances and apprehended 81 individuals during a comprehensive, weeklong anti-illegal drug campaign covering October 12 to 18, 2026.
Led by District Director Police Brigadier General Rodel A. Pastor, consolidated accomplishment reports reveal that SPD personnel carried out a total of 65 focused operations across the district’s jurisdictions, which include Makati, Taguig, Pateros, Pasay, Muntinlupa, Las Piñas, Parañaque, and the District Drug Enforcement Unit (DDEU).
The sweeping operations resulted in the arrest of 67 suspected drug users and 14 alleged pushers.
Authorities confiscated approximately 976.36 grams of suspected shabu, 1.91 grams of marijuana, and one unit of kush, bringing the cumulative estimated Standard Drug Price (SDP) of the recovered contraband to ₱6,640,977.20.
PBGen. Pastor attributed the successful weeklong harvest to strong inter-unit coordination and intelligence-sharing, particularly pointing to the district’s Borderless Policing System known as “Timpuyog.”
“Our campaign against illegal drugs must go beyond geographical and jurisdictional boundaries,” PBGEN Pastor stated.
“Through this, we strengthen coordination and cooperation among police units, improve information-sharing, and support joint operations to ensure that criminal activities are addressed swiftly and effectively,” Pastor reiterated.
Echoing his commitment to closing operational gaps and preventing criminals from exploiting municipal borders, PBGEN Pastor assured the public that the SPD will maintain relentless, coordinated, and effective law enforcement services to keep communities safe across southern Metro Manila.
