THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has stepped up its community safety and crime prevention initiatives, successfully rolling out security and awareness campaigns for local places of worship and schools from October 2 to 8, 2026.

Under the leadership of Acting District Director Police Brigadier General Christopher Olazo, and spearheaded by the District Community Affairs and Development Division led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Allan Docyogen, the police force implemented simultaneous drives dubbed Oplan Bathala and Oplan Bisita Eskwela.

To secure religious gatherings, the QCPD deployed 149 police personnel across 72 places of worship during the week-long period, ensuring the safety of roughly 4,700 churchgoers.

“Through Oplan Bisita Eskwela, we remain committed to promoting school safety, raising awareness of crime prevention, and helping ensure a secure environment where students can learn and thrive,” PBGen. Olazo added.

The QCPD continues to urge the public to remain vigilant and cooperate with local authorities as part of its broader campaign to maintain peace, order, and public safety throughout Quezon City.
