THE Eastern Police District (EPD) hosted a meet-and-greet with the EPD Officers Ladies Club Foundation Inc. (OLFCI) at the EPD Conference Room on September 28, 2026.
The afternoon gathering aimed to foster camaraderie, strengthen coordination, and promote closer collaboration between the district and the foundation to support the welfare and well-being of EPD personnel and their families.
The event was spearheaded by Mrs. Marry Rose L. Arugay, Adviser of the OLFCI EPD Chapter, and Mrs. Clarebelle P. Gantang, President of the OLFCI EPD Chapter, alongside fellow members and officer spouses.
PBGen. Roman C. Arugay, District Director of the EPD, graced the occasion, which was also attended by female officers and Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officers (PNCOs) from the EPD District Headquarters and the Pasig, Mandaluyong, Marikina, and San Juan City Police Stations (PaMaMariSan CPS).
A key highlight of the gathering was an open forum addressing personnel welfare and support initiatives.
Discussions focused heavily on an upcoming personnel vaccination program sponsored by the Public Safety Mutual Benefit Fund Inc. (PSMBFI), scheduled for October 6, 2026, and spearheaded by Mrs. Rodelle L. Abrahano, Adviser of the OLFCI NCRPO Chapter.
Participants also used the platform to brainstorm future activities, outline proposed programs, and align coordination efforts.
The productive exchange concluded on a high note, reinforcing the ongoing partnership between the EPD and the OLFCI in championing the welfare of police personnel and their households.
