THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of Acting District Director Police Brigadier General Christopher Olazo, released its weekly accomplishment report for October 18 to 24, 2026.
The comprehensive summary spotlighted robust initiatives spanning healthcare services, personnel welfare, operational readiness, logistical support, and community engagement.
A cornerstone of the week’s activities was the QCPD Medical and Dental Unit, spearheaded by Police Lieutenant Colonel Clarissa Modes.
The unit delivered essential healthcare services to 1,016 beneficiaries, encompassing police personnel, dependents, civilians, and Persons Under Police Custody (PUPCs).
Services ranged from routine PUPC health monitoring and medical consultations to chest X-ray examinations and dental care.
Furthermore, the unit performed crucial pre-medical evaluations for November birth-month celebrants preparing for physical fitness tests, alongside Body Mass Index (BMI) assessments for second-level uniformed personnel from Police Corporal to Police Major as part of regular promotion requirements.
To boost morale and honor dedication, the District Personnel and Records Management Division, led by Police Colonel Alberto Garcia, Jr., processed 8,208 commendations and 287 awards for outstanding personnel performance.
Parallel to this, the QCPD Damayan initiative—overseen by Police Executive Master Sergeant Eulalia Blancad under the Chief PNP’s welfare agenda—disbursed ₱170,000.00 in medical and burial assistance, including support via the Salamat Kapatid Program, directly aiding 14 personnel and their families.
On the operational and community fronts, the District Logistics Division under Police Colonel Alex Pederio completed the repair and maintenance of 15 service vehicles, significantly sharpening the mobility and rapid response capabilities of various city stations.
Simultaneously, the District Community Affairs and Development Division, led by Police Lieutenant Colonel Allan Docyogen, rolled out 229 community engagement programs across local barangays to deepen public trust and shared responsibility in peace-building.
Reiterating his commitment to the force, PBGen. Olazo emphasized the deep connection between officer welfare and public safety.
“Sa likod ng mahusay na serbisyo ay mga pulis na suportado, handa, at may malasakit. Patuloy nating palalakasin ang ating hanay upang masiguro ang ligtas na Quezon City para sa bawat QCitizen,” PBGen. Olazo stated.
