SWIFT intelligence operations, meticulous CCTV tracking, and cross-border coordination have enabled the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) to crack a staggering ₱16-million warehouse robbery, resulting in two arrests and the unmasking of a multi-province criminal ring.

The brazen heist occurred at approximately 3:00 AM on October 1, 2026, at the Eonni Kat Boutique Warehouse in Barangay Putatan.

Unidentified armed suspects ambushed the warehouse owner as she arrived, forcing her to surrender cash, jewelry, luxury phones, and high-value merchandise totaling ₱16,099,750 before escaping in a Toyota Avanza and a Mitsubishi Xpander.

Responding to a 911 distress call, local authorities initiated an immediate pursuit.

Through advanced camera analysis and inter-unit cooperation, investigators tracked both getaway vehicles and critical evidence to Tanay, Rizal.

This breakthrough led to the apprehension of a 35-year-old suspect positively identified by the victim.

Concurrently, high-value stolen electronics, including multiple iPhones and tactical radios, were recovered in San Pedro, Laguna.

The net tightened further on October 3 when police tracked a second suspect to Pampanga.

Facing mounting pressure, the suspect voluntarily returned to Muntinlupa City, where he was identified in a formal lineup and faced inquest proceedings the following day.

Investigators have since mapped out a nine-person syndicate comprising two arrested individuals, five identified fugitives, and two accomplices.

Digital forensics revealed the suspects shifted vehicles into two Toyota Fortuners in Angono, Rizal, hours after the crime.

Police have already traced one of the SUVs to its registered owner, providing crucial leads for the active manhunt.

NCRPO Officer-in-Charge Police Brigadier General Christopher N. Abrahano emphasized that the operation demonstrates the effectiveness of intelligence-driven policing under the leadership of PNP Chief PGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr.

“We have dismantled their escape routes, recovered their vehicles, and locked up two of the perpetrators,” PBGen. Abrahano declared. “To those still running: the evidence is closing in, and our pursuit is relentless. We will exhaust every resource to drag every last suspect before the courts.”

Law enforcement agencies assured that manhunt operations will continue uninterrupted until all remaining suspects are captured and brought to justice.
