NATIONAL Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) Officer-in-Charge Police Brigadier General Christopher N. Abrahano has ordered all regional units and police districts to ramp up intelligence-gathering and operations aimed at dismantling drug dens across the metropolis.

The directive comes on the heels of a successful Southern Police District (SPD) operation in Barangay Manuyo Uno, Las Piñas City, on October 3, 2026.

The raid resulted in the dismantling of a suspected drug den, the arrest of five individuals—including a classified High-Value Individual (HVI)—and the seizure of approximately 105 grams of suspected shabu valued at an estimated Standard Drug Price of ₱714,000.

“We will continue dismantling drug dens and disrupting drug networks. I have directed all NCRPO units to intensify intelligence gathering, validate reports, and take immediate lawful action against illegal drug activities,” PBGen. Abrahano stated.

The NCRPO chief stressed that robust intelligence collection is vital for unmasking supply chains, identifying drug personalities, and locating covert hubs.

He underscored that the campaign will target higher-level operators and protectors, extending well beyond street-level pushers.

In addition to targeting drug syndicates, PBGen. Abrahano issued a stern warning to property owners who knowingly permit their premises to be used as drug dens, reminding them that they face severe criminal liability under existing laws.

He also urged local barangay officials to maintain vigilance and collaborate closely with law enforcement to safeguard their communities.

“We warn drug syndicates that the NCRPO will continue to dismantle their operations. Those who knowingly allow their properties to be used as drug dens may be held accountable under the law,” PBGen. Abrahano concluded.
