THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD) maintained a strong security presence across local schools and religious institutions from September 25 to October 1, 2026, rolling out targeted initiatives to safeguard students and worshippers alike.
Under the leadership of Acting District Director Police Brigadier General Christopher Olazo, the QCPD deployed 147 police personnel to various campuses across the city as part of Oplan Bisita Eskwela.
The program reached nearly 7,000 students through 131 activities—including flag-raising ceremonies, safety lectures, and student dialogues—alongside the distribution of over 1,000 awareness flyers.
“The QCPD will sustain the implementation of this program in close coordination with school authorities to ensure that peace and order are maintained within school communities,” PBGen. Olazo stated.

Simultaneously, the district stepped up protection for religious communities through Project Bathala.
A separate contingent of 200 police officers was deployed to secure 90 worship services, protecting approximately 6,600 attendees and distributing hundreds of safety guides to boost public vigilance.
Reflecting on the dual community drives, Olazo noted the deeper motivation behind the security efforts: “Faith serves as a source of strength, focus, and dedication for many of our police officers. As we protect places of worship and ensure the safety of worshippers, we are reminded of our duty to serve with integrity, compassion, and commitment.”
