THE Quezon City Police District (QCPD), under the leadership of Police Brigadier General Christopher Olazo, successfully arrested nine Most Wanted Persons (MWPs) during a series of intensive, citywide manhunt operations.

The coordinated efforts involved multiple operating units and local police stations, netting high-profile fugitives facing severe criminal charges.

Among the notable arrests was a suspect identified as alias “Erwin,” who ranked as the No. 8 Most Wanted at the regional level, No. 2 at the district level, and No. 3 at the Anonas Police Station.

He was tracked down in Batasan Hills and apprehended by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit (CIDU) alongside intelligence teams by virtue of a warrant for qualified rape.

One suspect was served a warrant directly at the Quezon City Jail Male Dormitory.

The respective courts that issued the warrants have been duly notified of the apprehensions, and the suspects are currently detained pending legal proceedings.

PBGEN Olazo commended the operating units and reiterated the command’s firm stance against criminality.

“QCPD remains unwavering in its intensified drive against wanted persons as part of our commitment to maintaining peace, order, and public safety in Quezon City,” Olazo stated, while encouraging citizens to continuously support law enforcement through active reporting.
